All contributions are tax deductible.
The Worcester Night Run, A Race Against Cancer, was established in 2014 in support of Erin Coonan Schmidt. On December 12, 2008, one month after her wedding, Erin was diagnosed with stage two breast cancer. At the young age of 27, her life changed forever. Over the next five years, Erin underwent monthly treatments, changed her lifestyle and did everything her doctors asked of her. At the age of 33, during what should have been Erin’s final MRI to rule out any additional recurrence of the disease, spots were found on her liver. Within weeks, cancer was confirmed in both Erin’s liver and bones.
Today, even with a stage four diagnosis, Erin continues to fight, in part, because of the support received from family and friends like you. For more information, visit www.worcesternightrun.com.
