Welcome to the First Annual Woofstock Texas

This fun filled weekend will be feature many different activities, including a pup show, pup agility course, moshes, and games. It is a camping event so come ready for the great outdoors and be ready to enjoy fellowship with other members of the pup and pet community from across Texas.

Registration provides a campsite for the weekend, meals from Friday dinner through Sunday breakfast, and a chance to enjoy an escape with your fellow pups in the woods of East Texas!

Who Can Attend
This event is open to anyone 18 and over who identifies as a pet (pup, kitten, pony, etc), a handler, owner, master, and/or those who love them. The event is open to the experienced pup and new pup alike.

What To Expect
This weekend will be filled with amazing opportunities to relax and have fun. We'll have multiple moshes, games, agility courses, a ball pit, and a pup show. How much or how little you participate is entirely up to you. If you just want to hang out and meet other pups, this will be a great opportunity to do so.

You meals from Friday night through Sunday morning are included in your registration. We will also have some snacks and water for everyone. You are also encouraged to bring your own snacks and drinks as well.

Play At Your Own Risk
Pup play can be physically stressful and playing in moshes can cause injury. Attendance at Woofstock and participation in any event related activities is strictly voluntary and at your own risk. It is important you be aware of your limitations and not push them.

TCC Site
The TCC site in Cameron, Texas is a private landsite for the use of member organizations. Only registered attendees of Woofstock will be allowed onto the landsite on this weekend.

Leave It Better
We are committed to taking care of the remarkable treasure that is the TCC landsite. We ask that you do the same. Clear out all your trash and make sure it makes it to the dumpster. Help us keep the bunkhouse, bathhouses, and showers clean. Let's leave TCC better than how we found it.

Tent Camping Sites
There several large wooded areas at TCC set aside for tent camping. There are not specific tent sites so the best spots will go first come, first served. There are two bathhouses with showers and there is limited electricity available in the tent camping areas.

The Bunkhouse
TCC has a bunkhouse with 7 beds that will be made available on a first come, first served bases for a small additional fee. If you are interested, select the "bunkhouse" registration choice. Choice of beds will be offered in order of regiatration.

RV / Camper Trailers
TCC also has several sites for RV / travel trailer parking. These spaces do not have sewer or water but have electric (110). If you would like to bring your RV, please contact the event organizers prior to registering as additional fees and arrangements will need to be made.

Cell Coverage & Internet
Cell coverage at TCC is limited. The site does have wifi for your use. There is also a landline telephone in the kitchen area.

The city of Cameron is 15 minutes away from the site and has a full service grocery store, restaurants, and several motels. Cameron is a "wet" city.

Alcohol & Drug Use at Woofstock
Woofstock Texas 2017 has a zero tollerance policy toward underage drinking and the use of illegal substances. Anyone under 21 seen in posession of, consuming, and under the influence of alcohol will be removed from the event area and asked to leave (when it is safe for them to do so). Anyone providing alcohol to someone under 21 will also be asked to leave.

The event will not have coctain parties or any formal service of alcohol during the weekend. Those over 21 are permitted to bring their own supply but excessive intoxicated behaviour will not be tolerated.

Bio Pets
Bio pets will not be permitted at Woofstock.

Other Things You Need To Know

Woofstock Planning Committee

Woofstock 2017 is hosted by the DFW Kennel Club and is produced by a committee of individual pups from across the state. We are a partnership of individuals and clubs with one shared passion and goal: to bring our statewide community together.

The planning committee is headed by Pup Wylie, Pup Rex, Bee Pup, and Pup Axel. As we move forward, we will be including many other pups as well as part of the committee.

About DFW Kennel Club

This group was founded by Bee Pup in January 2016 as a safe space for pups of all genders and sexualities to meet and play in Dallas, Texas. The group meets monthy at the Dallas Eagle on the third Friday for bar night and moshing. The group also hosts periodic socials and moshes in private homes.

DFW Kennel Club is proud to support the Texas Conference of Clubs as a member club. We will be fundraising and putting in blood, sweat, and tears over the next few months to add pup friendly spaces to TCC for the enjoyment of all pups from across the state. Want to help? Contact us and we'll tell you how.
