Event description

Description

"Our burning world is calling out to us in need, our world needs our full presence right now. It is my hope that together our holy community can lift our spirits, and strengthen our resolve and our courage to say Here I am as fully as we are able, and to offer that fullness to our loved ones, to our society, and to our precious planet."
- Rabbi Jonathan Kligler

Please give up to the level that you can. Giving is a mitzvah and a responsibility. We value your presence most of all.

FAQs

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

The onsite parking lot is open to all on the 2nd day of Rosh Hashanah and on Yom Kippur after 2:30 pm. At all other times during the High Holy Days there is only space for members with parking passes. This year shuttle buses will only run from the lot at St. John’s Church. Buses will run from one hour before each service continuously until after all scheduled services and Kiddush. Exceptions: Yom Kippur when buses stop running at 2:30 pm and all cars can park on-site after that time; Second day of Rosh Hashanah when all cars park at WJC.

How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

info@wjcshul.org, 845-679-2218

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, you need an entry card to enter the tent. Entry cards will be mailed to all who register before September 13th. After September 13th entry cards will be put in the "will call" box to be picked up.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

No, each individual is given their own entry card with their name on it.
