-The Southern Sirens out of Louisville, KY will be in our neck of the woods to play their style of Folk/Americana music on the Woodsongs stage. This all girl trio performs a plethora of genres in their originals and covers giving each song their own distinctive sound with a unique instrumentation blend of violin, latin percussion, guitar, vocals, and occasionally piano and mandolin.

-Candid Coyote is a solo Folk/Americana artist grown from the mountains of Northern Utah. His music is the earnest reflection of a heart’s surrender to its passion for songwriting, and is delivered with minimal instrumentation (guitar, banjo, and the occasional harmonica) in a soulful way that emphasizes the power of lyric and storytelling to evoke profound thought and feeling. Drawing much inspiration from early American folk, country, and gospel traditions, Candid Coyote holds the troubadour Spirit of Song high and bright for all with ears to hear.

-Local artist & phenomena Shanin Blake has signed on to bring her music to the Woodsongs stage. If you haven't seen her amazing Youtube videos you need too! She'll blow your mind.

-The Creation Lounge will be displaying their unique handcrafted wares at the event. Be sure to talk with the owner Natalie Archuleta and mention that you are a member of Woodsongs Coffeehouse Sessions for a discount on your purchase.

Woodsongs Coffeehouse Sessions

WoodSongs Coffeehouses are a volunteer run, community venues presented in homes, schools, theaters, event centers, cafes, garages or wherever else can be used to provide a platform for music. The purpose is to create a national network of venues for artists and their audiences. This project is a free, public outreach of the WoodSongs Old-Time Radio Hour ( http://www.woodsongs.com/ ).

This is a new music series starting on Friday, October 10th, 2014 to create a unique music venue for artists to perform and connect with their audience. Woodsongs Coffeehouses highlight the music and the artist with the goal of encouraging individuals who attend to create their own art to express themselves.
