Description

Woodland Stewardship Workshop for Landowners

Get the most out of your woodland!

This workshop will introduce stewardship for small acreage woodlands and delve into the planning and assistance resources available to landowners with less than 30 acres of forests. Through a hands-on training exercise, you will take the first steps in writing a stewardship plan for your property and get one-on-one advice from local forestry and natural resource professionals. You’ll then be able to connect directly with the professionals that can help you complete and carry out your plan!

Upon completing the workshop, landowners in the Kettle and Snake River watersheds will be eligible to receive funding assistance to have a small acreage stewardship plan written for their property.

This workshop is hosted by the St. Croix River Association with special support from the Pine County Soil & Water Conservation District, USDA NRCS, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Forestry, and the USDA Forest Service-State and Private Forestry.
