About Woodbury University

Founded in 1884, Woodbury University is one of the oldest institutions of higher education in Southern California. Woodbury (a non-profit institution with a student body of 1,200) offers bachelor's degrees from the School of Architecture, School of Business, School of Media, Culture & Design, and the College of Liberal Arts. In addition, graduate programs are offered within our School of Business along with our School of Architecture.

We transform students into innovative professionals who will contribute responsibly to the global community. We achieve academic excellence by focusing on purposeful student engagement, establishing external partnerships and ensuring that all our processes, services and environment enrich the student experience. This is why our student-to-faculty ratio is 16-to-1.

Woodbury encourages continued learning about sustainability through coursework, research and the experiences of life on campus. Sustainable Woodbury prompts our community to explore our future, our current status and our past and challenges us to examine our natural and built environments, campus life, curriculum, co-curricular learning opportunities and stewardship of resources in the spirit of shared and just decision making.
