Description

Sign up to join the survey team at Woodard Bay Conservation Area. Please arrive at the parking area at 9:30am, a Discover Pass is required. Do consider carpooling if you are coming with a group, parking is limited here. It is a 20 min. walk on a gravel path to the beach, survey begins at 10am. Be prepared to get muddy! We recommend bringing a change of clothes and shoes as there is no rinse station at this site. Pit toilet available. For more info about this unique location visit, dnr.wa.gov/WoodardBay



Participate in the South Sound BioBlitz on August 11th, 2018! Help biologists collect, sort, identify, and take pictures of animals during a beach survey and/or visit the WET Center at 500 Adams St NE in downtown Olympia to see live animals, look under the microscope, and work with taxonomists to ID organisms.
