Reserve your spot for Wonderland of Lights. Admission fees will be charged at the gate if you are not a deluxe or premium member.

About this event

Thousands of lights create an extraordinary holiday display at the 27th annual Wonderland of Lights! Stroll around the zoo during a magical Michigan winter evening and take in the twinkling light displays across the zoo while holiday music plays. Grab a goodie bag for children to take home and enjoy as you leave the zoo.

Event Details: 

Wonderland of Lights is open Thursdays through Sundays from 5 – 8 p.m. Nov. 20 through Dec. 26, 2021*

The AniMall Gift Shop will close promptly at 8 p.m.

*Please note – Wonderland of Lights will not be held Thursday, Nov. 25, Friday, Dec. 24 and Saturday, Dec. 25. The regular schedule will continue the next day

Admissions

Reserving your arrival date online, including Premium & Deluxe Members, is highly recommended. Online reservations will be no cost and all guests will pay at the admissions gate. Please bring a confirmation of your arrival date reservation to the admissions gate (digital copies on your phone are great!).

Please note: guests can also purchase tickets at the gate without reserving an arrival date.

Admission rates charged at the gate are below:

  • $9 adults
  • $5 for kids 3-12, seniors (60+), and military
  • Free for kids under 3 years old

Guidelines for Visiting the Zoo

Masks are required when entering buildings. Thank you for helping to keep the zoo a safe place for everyone!

Organizer Potter Park Zoo

Organizer of Wonderland of Lights Reservation

Nearly 500 animals call Potter Park Zoo home, including critically endangered black rhinos, Amur tigers, and endangered red pandas, Massasauga rattlesnake and snow leopard. The zoo is located in Lansing, Michigan and is open 364 days a year. 

As an accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) and participant in its Species Survival Plan (SSP) programs, we are committed to the preservation of endangered animals and are actively developing strategies that will help protect species and preserve their wild habitats.
