Description

Join us for Wonderfully Made: A Theology of the Body Retreat for High School Girls. We will talk about what it means to be a young, dynamic, Catholic woman in today's world. The retreat will introduce you to John Paul II's Theology of the Body and what it means for your life! Retreat will include talks, small groups, Mass, Adoration and time for confession.

The Retreat is led by Samantha Kelley, the Founder and President of FIERCE Athlete (fierceathlete.org). Sam is a young Catholic woman, trained in teaching the Theology of the Body. She holds a Masters degree in Catholic Psychology, is a former Division 1 soccer player, and now rows competitively!

Marie DiCecco will also be giving a talk entitled, "Beautifully Made". Marie has been a high school health educator for the past 35 years and has recently completed an Allied Health program in women’s health care. She is passionate about educating young females on the beauty of their femininity and their natural ability to bring life into the world. Marie believes that the foundation of the "feminine genius" - as defined and described so elegantly by Pope St. John Paul II - lies in her capacity to know that she is endowed with specific feminine gifts that encourage her to become the woman she is called by Him to be.

Fr. Timothy Danaher, O.P, of St. Patrick Church, Philadelphia, will be our Chaplain.

The Sisters of Life will be attending, speaking, and leading small groups.

Lunch and Dinner served Saturday and Breakfast served Sunday.

Cost: $75/person. Scholarships available. Inquire with Eileen Christian - eileenchristian@usa.net or text 610-716-1840.
