Wonder of the Honey Bee
Event Information
About this Event
We look forward to delivering an experience that is unique, memorable and offers tools for a transformational approach to supporting pollinators and people living at-risk in our communities.
In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is especially important to keep connected to community and to nature.
Structure:
Through this one hour online workshop we will work through the following topics and interact with one another through online discussion, questions and reflection.
- Bee biology
– what makes a colony of honey bees?
- Bee communication
– how do bees coordinate work and care for each other?
- Habitat and forage
– what do bees need? How can we support their health and foster their diversity!
Once registered we will provide a link for the online workshop.
We wouldn't be able to do the work that we do without great supporters like you! Please consider donating to Hives for Humanity Society here.
