Event description

Description

WomenWerk is a women's empowerment non-profit for and by women of color. Our goal is to empower women of color with programs and trainings to build their personal and professional goals. We amplify the impact of women of color across our social media and engage in conferences like Essence Fest and SXSW to share our perspectives in the women's movement. We reach 5,500 women and girls annually through our programs Please check out our upcoming events on IG (@WomenWerk) and sign-up for our monthly newsletter at WomenWerk.com

The upcoming WomenWerk "Celebration" of Black Women's Equal Pay day is our sound-off on the important issue of pay inequity. While most women celebrate Equal Pay Day in April, women of color work until past August to earn equal pay to white men in similar sectors. Please join us for an engaging discussion on pay equity, salary negotiation, and it's impact on women of color.
