Challenges for Women: Enduring Wisdom from The Native American, Jewish, Christian and Islamic Traditions

Community-Wide Workshop Created by The Salaam Network, Hospitality from St Agnes Catholic Community and Co-sponsored by The Cathedral of the Assumption, The Guiding Light Islamic Center, The Passionist Earth and Spirit Center, Plymouth Congregational United Church of Christ, Rainbow Spiritual Education Center, Douglass Blvd Christian Church, The Temple Adath Israel Brith Sholom, St Williams Catholic Community, St Andrew United Church of Christ, Jewish Community Relations Council and Drepung Gomang Center for Engaging Compassion.

Ever feel as fragmented as a broken mirror? Torn in a thousand ways like a cloud of confetti?

The Salaam Network invites you to explore with us many of the treasures of enduring women's wisdom that may serve as a catalyst to greater personal Wholeness. The four-hour workshop offers presentations from eight women scholars and clergy, and opportunities to reflect and dialogue on centuries old wisdom made relevant to our troubled era.. Unsung and treated as second-class (or worse) in many cultures and faith traditons, Women have ultimately held it all together. Join us on Sunday afternoon, October 29 in Aloysius Hall at St Agnes Church as women's wisom comes to our lives. Link to full workshop schedule:
