Description

The Women's Wellness Summit 2020 is a full day retreat dedicated to women's health and wellbeing. We have assembled a number of wellness specialists who will share their knowledge and advice throughout a full-day programme of speakers, workshops and classes.

Our keynote speaker is the wonderful Dr Tracy Chandler, aka Dr Wellness, an integrative medicine specialist who is passionate about helping women achieve optimal health through a combination of conventional and complementary approaches. Dr Wellness will open the Summit with a keynote covering topics such as disease prevention, improving health and vitality, weight loss, hormone balance and more. The keynote will end with a Q+A session to answer all of your questions about integrative medicine and achieving optimal health.

Throughout the day there will be workshops and classes offered by some of Dunedin's top specialists in health and wellness. Our programme is designed to cover a broad range of topics related to women's health and wellbeing, and attendees can pick and choose what they wish to attend:

Barre Base - Beginner's Barre; Introduction to Yoga Practice; Self-Care Class.

A delicious plant-based lunch will be provided by Precinct Food.

There will also be a mini-expo running throughout the day where you can connect with local businesses and discover new products and services related to women's health and wellbeing.

To end the day, we have the fabulous Harriet Moir, entertainer extraordinaire, hosting a panel discussion on the topic 'What is Wellness?' Harriet will chat with our panel about their own wellness journeys and what they have learnt along the way. This session will be accompanied by a glass of Quartz Reef wine.

What do I get for my ticket?

A full day of health and wellness wisdom, and inspiration from some of Dunedin's wellness specialists! Access to the experts in all things wellness, all in one place, plus opportunities to try out some classes, ask questions, attend workshops, explore new products and services, and meet like-minded women. The panel discussion will be both informative and entertaining. You also get snacks, a delicious lunchbox from Precinct Food, a glass of Quartz Reef wine, entertainment and a top-quality goody bag with generous samples and full-size products. There are also spot prizes to be won on the day!

What can I bring into the event?

Bring some comfortable clothes/activewear (or come dressed in activewear) if you wish to participate in any of the classes.

What's the refund policy?

Refunds are available up to one month prior to the event. After that, you will need to on-sell your ticket if you can't attend.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Please bring your printed ticket as this will allow you access to the event and will also put you in the draw for a prize package. We will have a list of names just in case you forget :)

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Yes that's fine.
