We are sisters, mothers, daughters, and wives who want to stop obsessing about food and feel at ease in their bodies.

About this Event

The Women's Reflection Group is meant to be an in-person experience every two weeks. Due to the Coronavirus, the group meetings will be held online until April 24th.

Tickets are normally $20 for each group meeting. I've decided to lower the cost to $15 to give back during this time of need.

Women's Reflection Group: Food and Body

The Women's Reflection Group: Food and Body is the only group in Washington D.C. where women find community, share openly about the craziness and sometimes confusion they feel about food, body image, and health, and find the support they need to lead healthy lives.

It doesn’t matter what you look like. It doesn’t matter if you’re a mom, daughter, sister or wife...

This group is for women who want to feel strong, energized, confident, and healthy...WITHOUT DIETS OR OBSESSION.

You want to attend if you want to...

  • Crave a space to share about your relationship with food and your body.
  • Get to the root of your eating and thinking patterns.
  • Live a healthy life on your own terms...not the latest diet or detox.
  • Learn how to deal with your emotions without using food.
  • Feel joy around food and eat freely without intense feelings of regret.
  • Belong to a community of women who are working on feeling free and sane around food.

The Women's Reflection Group: Food and Body is an open, safe, non-judgmental space for women who want to stop obsessing about food and feel confident in their bodies!

The group meets the fourth Wednesday of every month at The Yard in Eastern Market in Washington D.C.

What happens during the meetings?

Each session will have a topic (e.g. stress eating and social life, maternity and body image, identity and food, self-worth). The first 15 minutes of the session will be dedicated to brief introductions. During the next 40 minutes, the group will share and reflect on their experience with the guidance and coaching from Lina. We use the last 15 minutes to close with main takeaways and one question/action to practice in between meetings.

Who leads it?

This group is led by Lina Salazar, Health Coach and creator of the Food Sanity Program.

About refunds

Tickets are not refundable. If you definitely cannot attend the session, you can use your ticket to come to the next one.
