Women's Month 2017 at Rose, Meet & Greet
Event Information
Description
Just a note: no shoes are allowed in the event, so wear some cool socks!
This event is the culmination of a month-long effort by Rose to support women in our community. For the month of March, which is Women's History Month, we are profiling a different woman in the community every single day. So tune in daily to the videos hosted on the Rose YouTube Channel and come to the event at the end of the month!
This Eventbrite event is for March 25th, when Rose will host the community to celebrate Women's Month 2017. The purpose of this event is to encourage community connections, bringing people together to support each other. Sign up, bring a friend, and spread the word!
We will be screening the videos on one side of our office, including debut of the video for March 25th (we will show it at 12pm instead of 8am). And we are pleased to announce that Simone Baron, classical pianist in residence at Strathmore Mansion, will be performing live.
Any donation proceeds from tickets will benefit the WABA Women & Bicycles. Rose is going to do a 100% match on donations.* You don't need to donate much. This is about doing what we can, as a community. We're working together to build things!
- Subscribe to our Facebook (rosephysicaltherapygroup) and YouTube (search "rosept") channels for updates. We also post on Instagram with less frequency, and Twitter links to our facebook posts.

Is this a political event?
We do not think that supporting women is a political undertaking. We applaud the organizers and participants in marches to support women, but we conceived our project in early 2016 when we began filming. We are doing this because we feel like we live in a special community, with exciting opportunities, and we felt like this was something we could do to help. Providing more support for women strengthens our entire community for both women and men. This project is organic, it's grass roots, it's about community. We're a physical therapy clinic, not a media magnate, and producing this project was a difficult undertaking for us that we felt was necessary. If you're reading this, we're doing this for you.
*we have a donation maximum of $1,000 for Rose Physical Therapy Group, LLC.
