Event Details

WASHINGTON—The American Association of University Women (AAUW), in collaboration with Running Start, will present a dial-in discussion about the future of women’s political leadership. The call will launch the 39 Elect Her–Campus Women Win training sites for 2013 and provide an update on the status of women in political leadership from college to Congress.

Elect Her–Campus Women Win is a nationwide program that trains college women to run effective campaigns for student government and encourages them to pursue elected office after graduating. More women than ever are running for Congress in 2012, and we need to keep up this momentum by training college women to take on leadership roles in school and beyond.

Join AAUW and Running Start for a dial-in discussion to hear from powerful women leaders and experts about how the Elect Her–Campus Women Win program is changing the face of campus leadership and the future of women in politics.
