Welcome riders! Join me and BSCO for the Women's Intermediate Mountain Bike Clinic at Big Sky Community Organization on August 16, 2025 at 5:00 PM. This clinic is perfect for those looking to enhance their skills and take their riding to the next level. This clinic will provide valuable tips and techniques to improve your riding abilities. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to learn and grow as a rider! We will be riding to the Hummocks and Upland parking lot after some drills at BSCO and then sessioning the corners on Downlands!

Frequently asked questions

Why is this an Intermediate ride?

The distance to get to the start of the trail might be challenging for newer riders. Additionally, some of the corners are more "bowled" and might be more challenging for a newer rider. However, if you have ridden Uplands and Downlands before and want to improve, feel free to sign up.

Who is leading the clinic?

Porsha Murdock is a professional mountain bike racer specializing in enduro. She competes against the best in the country and is a consistent threat to the podium. When she is not racing she enjoys hosting clinics and sharing what she has learned over her ten year racing career.

What should I bring?

Mountain bike in working order, tools to change a flat (tube, Co2/pump, tire lever), water and snacks for 2.5 hours, helmet, kneepads (optional).

What will this clinic help me with?

Ultimately this clinic will be a great stepping stone for trails like the new and improved Mountain to Meadows. We will cover many foundational skills like body positioning, braking, and general terminology in the grass area near BSCO. From there we will take it to the trails!
