Event description

Description

This Women's immersive all-day event will be led by Women for Women. The intention is to co-create a safe space for education and connection with our-Self in a community of other Women. This will be a time for sharing skills, knowledge, and stories. We are at a sensitive time in our society and culture(s) where the Female voice is Rising. There is so much we can learn and activate within ourselves by listening deeply to other Sisters. When Women come together to share and inform we uplift female suffering and nurture honest, sincere, authentic, heart-based activism. A large portion of this event focuses on anatomy and function of the female body, as well as natural healthy solutions to address challenges that can arise. By bringing our awareness on our Bodies and Being we encourage ourselves to take positive action in well-living. Knowing your body and how it works is essential to embracing your power and truth! This event will holistically address all parts of you including: physical health, mental health, emotional health, energetic health, and spiritual health. There will also be open time for safe discussion and expression on being a woman in this world. This gathering is inspired by every women: her body, her wisdom, her inner seeker, her spirit, her inner child, her tigress, and the mother.

This event was coordinated by Kristen Volpone as a heart conscious decision that enough is enough. Enraged by media and the acts of violence on Women, she could not sit back anymore. When Kristen was six-years-old she lost her mother due to breast cancer and in her youth struggled with health/ body-based hypochondria from post-traumatic stress. After many moons of investigating, observing, and listening to her body she was humbled by the options of self-care available. She is empowered to inform, share, and step into the beautiful vision of Being in this Body. Inspired by so many women she has met, this event is an offering, an invitation, a collective co-creation and a beautiful ODE to US. The time is now to come together, take our space, create our community, and banish struggle from OUR Rising.
This event’s proceeds will go towards the Michelle McNaught Memorial Fund/ Ovarian Cancer Research as well as to her Dear friends mother, who had recently been diagnosed with Adrenal Cancer.
