Announcing Women’s History Month Coffee Hour
In celebration of Women’s History Month, join the Microsoft New England R&D Center, MITX and the new Kendall Square coffeehouse, Voltage Coffee & Art in a special series with female luminaries in the tech, startup and government community.
Throughout the month of March, we’ll host a unique weekly coffee hour where influential women will share their stories and advice for success. Our first line-up will feature Angie Anderson, Partner Product Unit Manager, Microsoft Application Virtualization.
About Angie Anderson
Angie Anderson is Partner Product Unit Manager for the Microsoft Application Virtualization (App-V) Team in Cambridge, MA. Angie joined Microsoft in January 2008. Before joining Microsoft, Angie was Senior Vice President of Development at Openwave, delivering browser, messaging, identity and location based products to phone vendors and mobile carriers. Prior to Openwave, Angie worked at Novell for fourteen years in various organizations and on many technologies, including the NetWare OS, Windows Clients for NetWare, Directory Services, ZENworks management and Linux. In her last position at Novell, Angie was the VP/GM for Cross Platform Services Group responsible for driving the Linux, NetWare and GroupWise strategy and product delivery. Angie graduated from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah, with a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics.
Microsoft will fully match all coffee sales from this series with a donation to Science Club for Girls, a Cambridge-based organization committed to increasing K-12 girls’ self-confidence and literacy in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
