Women's Health and Safety Forum

The Thousand Oaks Police Department in partnership with California Lutheran University and other community partners is presenting a free women’s health and safety forum. This forum will allow the police department to address particular issues in the community and provide education to women on protecting themselves.
The focus of this forum will include ways to raise awareness and minimize the risk of date related violence, sexual assault, as well as maintaining healthy relationships. Additionally, information will be provided to women on ways to improve self-esteem, nutrition and overall health.
This event will provide a continental breakfast and lunch to the attendees. Additionally, there will be a number of resource tables hosted by community organizations that will be available to provide educational materials and resources.
