Welcome to my third time offering Voice & Body of the Sacred Feminine: a healing mini retreat for women! This is inclusive of anybody who identifies as a woman, and we welcome women of all faiths, races, and orientations. This is what one of the participants had to say after the last one:

“Saturday's retreat was exactly what I needed. Before I arrived I had been feeling tight, contracted and anxious. Immediately after sitting in your circle I felt a blanket of peace and calm envelope me. I adored every exercise you walked us through. You are an amazing facilitator and healer. You helped me reconnect to my body in a way that I hadn't for a long time. The work that was done at your retreat was easy to integrate, had a profound effect, and will stay with me for a long time. I'm looking forward to your next playful creation!”

This really moved me. Honestly, the feedback from the past two retreats has felt too good to be true. It feels like people are telling me that I am coming full circle in my healing process, and that I am fulfilling my purpose.

I truly, passionately love healing; both my own process, and witnessing the process in others.

The purpose of this mini retreat is to come together in a safe container, to share wisdom, and heal, and support each other. We explore our relationships with our bodies, we read inspiring words written by wise women, and we tell our truths to ourselves and to each other. Also, we relax. We breathe deep breaths, and tune into our insides, and let the floor hold our bodies.

Also, we have fun! Laughter and play are a big part of healing, too, and sometimes simply telling the truth is the funniest thing!

I had an inspiration about a theme for the next one: Exploring stillness and movement; meditation and dance, traveling back and forth between the two and finding balance between them. We'll also have a sharing circle, and do some inspiring reading! The last few times we read from Women Who Run With the Wolves by Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes, and then shared about the ways that it moved us.

This experience is appropriate for people with all levels of experience with yoga, meditation, and movement, as long as your body is in a well enough state to safely explore dance and movement.

Wear clothes that are comfortable to move in, and don't forget to bring your journal! It's also a nice idea to bring any water and snacks that you might want.
