Description
Self care isn't talked about often in my community so I try to bring it up as much as I can. It's a vital part of happiness and staying sane in a world that tries its best to push you away from knowledge of self. We get so caught up in worldly things that we forget to take time out to listen to our bodies. A lot of us aren't taught how to deal with trauma, or even know that we need healing from trauma. A lot of us also don't know that the reason we can't seem to find happiness without an outside source is because we are holding on to a number of things that are blocking us from truly connecting with ourselves. This is what led me to curating this event. A piece of my mission on Earth is making sure that I share [my] knowledge with as many of my sisters as I can. This is a time for healing, cleansing and releasing what no longer serves you.
We will have a yoga session, break for lunch and then come together in a healing circle to expand on:

mental, physical, emotional and spiritual health

healing from trauma

+ the importance of sisterhood
A customized tea blend + lunch will be included.
