Ivie Bryant
Ivie was introduced to yoga in 2007 when she moved to Oahu. Through focused breath work, dynamatic movement, and long held poses, her physical, emotional, mental and energetic layers began to open and she discovered the incredible healing potential the practice had to offer. Yoga has been instrumental in helping her recover from a back injury and two cesareans within two years. It has improved her flexibility and helped her heal physically as well as energetically. After receiving a master’s in education in 2010, Ivie saw the benefit of the practice in the classroom. She became YogaEd certified and worked with the Farrington High School cross country team to teach middle school students at Kaimuki. And in 2018 she completed the Aloha Kula Yoga teacher training program.
