About your speakers

Ellen Green, Award-winning company director of Blue Badge Co.

A graduate from Dartington College of Arts with a first class degree in Arts and Cultural Management, Ellen went on to be Business Manager for Power Amp Music, an Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) financing artists. The fund was an innovative alternative to record label funding, raising over £4 million and signing lucrative deals with artist such as Madness and Charlotte Church.

In 2011, she made her first blue badge wallet and armed with e-commerce and online marketing skills, she executed the launch of the product, developing the sales channels and managing distribution. Ellen has won a string of awards, appeared on Dragons' Den and spoke on Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour. Under her leadership, Blue Badge Co has gone from a back bedroom enterprise to a half million turnover company.
