About this event
You are cordially invited to join the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), Office of Women’s Business Ownership (OWBO) for a virtual Women’s Business Center Grant Program Applicant Workshop for our for Puerto Rico, Rochester (NY), and Tulsa (OK) funding competitions. The workshop will be held on August 17, 2021 at 1:30 pm ET on Microsoft Teams.
During the applicant workshop attendees will learn about the WBC Program and how to submit a successful application. Minority Serving Institutions are encouraged to participate and apply.
About OWBO
The Office of Women’s Business Ownership’s mission is to enable and empower women entrepreneurs through advocacy, outreach, education and support. Through the management and technical assistance provided by the Women’s Business Centers (WBCs), entrepreneurs, especially women who are economically or socially disadvantaged, are offered comprehensive training and counseling on a vast array of topics in many languages to help them start and grow their own businesses.
