Do you know how to fix the bane of a cyclist's existence, a flat tire? If you don't, or just want to be sure you're doing it right, stop by one of the Downtube's repair classes to learn how to fix a flat, solve common issues, the best bike maintenance, and more.
The Women's Repair class is scheduled for 6:30pm on the first Tuesday of the month, each month this summer. Class time may vary, but plan on at least an hour and a half. Advance registration in the store or on this website is required, as is a $18 fee. There is a minimum class size of 4 people, and a maximum of 10.
The goal of the women's class is to teach the same material as the co-ed Beginner Repair class in a welcoming enviromnent in which everyone can be comfortable.
Advanced classes in derailleur and brake adjustment are also available this summer! Check out our organizer page for more details.
