Genworth is excited to host The Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement (WAM), a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness about women’s increased risk for Alzheimer’s and to educating the public about lifestyle changes to protect brain health, for a live panel discussion facilitated by WAM’s founder, Maria Shriver, on Wednesday October 31 from 10:30am-1:30pm at Dominion Energy Center, Carpenter Theatre.

Other speakers will include:

  • Dr. Sara Gottfried, MD, Harvard-educated physician, keynote speaker and author of three New York Times bestselling books

  • Dr. Lisa Mosconi, PhD, Associate Director Alzheimer’s Prevention Clinic at Weill Cornell Medical College/New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Director Women’s Brain Initiative at Weill Cornell

  • Dr. Ayn Welleford, MS, PhD, Associate Professor Virginia Commonwealth University, Gerontologist for Community Voice and Co-Lead Greater-Richmond Age Wave a University-Community Collective Impact Initiative
