Tech Women Network members and guests are invited to a virtual lunch & learn series featuring women in tech leaders. If you missed the May series, join us in June as we learn from diversity and inclusion leaders.
To participate, register as a member (see email/Slack) or guest to get a behind-the-scenes look at life @ a company. Via an intimate chat, speakers will talk about their career journey, provide insight on breaking into their industries, and share how they've adjusted to the "new normal" @ work. Additionally, we will touch on the importance of diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

- June 3rd - Shakti @ Bayer
Shakti Harris, Head, U.S. Inclusion and Diversity, Bayer
Shakti joined Bayer in 2019 as Head, US Inclusion and Diversity. Prior to joining Bayer, Shakti was the global diversity and inclusion leader for the specialty products division of DowDuPont. In her eighteen years at DuPont, Shakti held roles in human resources, marketing, information technology, and business consulting in multiple business units. Her multi-disciplinary experiences fuel her unique perspectives and enable her to connect strategic initiatives across the enterprise. Harris enjoys advancing educational initiatives and supporting youth development programs. She has coached an Odyssey of the Mind team of K-5 students for five years, and she taught a Junior Achievement second grade program for more than fifteen years. Harris earned an MBA in marketing and information technology from Indiana University at Bloomington and a BS in biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

April Walker, Director, Microsoft Technology Center - Philadelphia
April Walker is the Director of the Philadelphia Microsoft Technology Center (MTC) located in Malvern, Pennsylvania and a member of Microsoft’s North American MTC leadership team. April oversees Microsoft’s state-of-the-art innovation center that enables digital transformation for enterprises throughout the greater Philadelphia area. An accomplished engineer and expert in cybersecurity, AI, and cloud, April began her career in STEM more than 30 years ago in the DC area and amassed an impressive portfolio of success leading organizations in the corporate arena. A technology evangelist and change-leader, she has been the catalyst for driving innovation for many F500 corporations. A well-known and respected thought leader in both technology and D&I, April has a noteworthy array of keynote and speaking engagements conducted throughout the country where she is sought after to share her experiences as a technology leader and woman of color thriving in the world STEM. April is a graduate of MIT Sloan School of Management and earned an MBA and an Executive Certification in AI, George Washington University, M.S. in Engineering Management and University of Maryland, B.S. in Global Business. A community advocate, she recently was appointed by the Mayor of Philadelphia, Jim Kenney to the Philadelphia Works, Inc. board and is board member of the Philadelphia POWER of Professional Women’s organization

Margo't Goodson, North America Diversity and Inclusion Lead, SAP America
Margot is an experienced professional with twenty-eight years of progressive knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in finance/accounting, project management, Diversity & Inclusion, Employee Satisfaction, entrepreneurship and managerial leadership across various industries. Now having her passion as her profession, her goal is to Make D&I our DNA at SAP!
As North America Diversity & Inclusion Lead, Margot is responsible for identifying, planning, executing and monitoring diversity activities related to the regional Diversity & Inclusion strategy for four focus areas, including Talent Attraction & Sourcing, Employee Onboarding & Engagement, Career Development & Advancement, as well as Supplier Diversity across all demographics.
Margot is a CPA, CSSGB, CSR Ambassador, Community Activist and active leader of SAP’s Black Employee Network and Business Women’s Network, as well as a Board Member on the Pennsylvania Diversity Council.

Andrea Guendelman, Co-Founder, Wallbreakers
Andrea Guendelman has founded and built technology companies that connect talent-hungry companies at the cutting edge of tech, finance, and media with dynamic, talented individuals who are looking for opportunities. Andrea co-founded WallBreakers, a technology platform that uses AI to help train and “upskill” young software engineers, helping them improve their coding, problem-solving and soft skills for positions at leading tech companies. WallBreakers works with client companies to identify with particularity the crucial skills they need in their talent searches. WallBreakers’ system helps train, measure and certify those skills. Andrea sold her earlier startup business, BeVIsible, which focused on creating online career networking communities for Latinx and other individuals from underrepresented communities.
Earlier in her career, Andrea worked as a finance lawyer at the international law firm of Debevoise and Plimpton and at the Export-Import Bank of the United States. Andrea earned law degrees from Harvard Law School and the University of Chile. She is currently in the Executive MBA program at MIT’s Sloan School of Management.
