Women Who Travel Live Podcast & Meetup: D.C.
Event Information
Description
To our Women Who Travel in D.C.—
We want to meet you! And talk travel! And, most importantly, bring our Women Who Travel Facebook group and podcast listeners together in one place, IRL.
This will be our sixth official Women Who Travel meetup, but with a twist—we'll start the event with a live recording of the Women Who Travel podcast, for the first time ever. We're also excited to host this event the evening before the Women's March on D.C., and hope that it can serve as a springboard for the rest of the weekend. Whether you're coming from out of town or live nearby, come and connect with likeminded women, share experiences, and unwind (or wind up—your choice!).
Who Is Invited: Any self-identifying women who travel. Whether you're a member of the Facebook group, a podcast listener, or just interested in the event, we'd love to have you join us. Have a sister, roommate, coworker, or friend you'd like to bring along? That's totally fine—just make sure they RSVP for their own ticket.
Location: The female-owned Eaton Hotel, 1201 K Street NW, Washington, DC, 20005
Food & Drinks: Drinks and snacks from Eaton's American Son restaurant will be provided
Format:
6:15-7:00pm: Live podcast recording. Get comfy as your Women Who Travel podcast hosts, Meredith Carey and Lale Arikoglu, chat with three special guests (we'll share more details on the topic and guests closer to).
7:00-9:00pm: Meetup portion. We'll breakout from the seated podcast space, and food and drinks will be served! Spend the evening meet-and-greeting with the podcast hosts, or talk all things women and travel with other members of the community.
