About this event
Join Northeast Florida Women Veterans for the 8th Annual Women Veterans Week of Recognition Opening Ceremony at City Hall in Jacksonville, FL on June 6th. Mayor Lenny Curry will present this year's proclamation for the week-long event marking the week of June 5 through June 11 as Women Veterans Recognition Week. This week marks another point in history acknowledging all women who have ever served in the military, recognizing their role in military history, and celebrating their accomplishments during and after service. This year's theme, "Finding the Leader Within" will remind women of their natural strength. More information about the week-long event can be found at www.forwomenvets.org.
The event will be held in the atrium and begins at 10 am.
City Hall is located downtown. Metered parking can be found on the street. There is also a parking garage located at 33 W Duval St, Jacksonville, FL 32202.
