The final installment of the Boston Sunday Globe Magazine and Simon Malls Women to Watch networking series will take place on Thursday, December 8th at the Shops at Chestnut Hill. The Women to Watch series is a five-part women's networking series featuring different women in the workplace speaking about their experiences as well as a networking reception where attendees can mingle and enjoy light food and drink.
"Making technology work for you" will feature Sherry Turkle, professor of Social Studies and Technology at MIT and director of the MIT Initiative on Technology and Self. Sherry will share her thoughts and findings on the “subjective side” of people’s relationships with technology, especially computers, as well as how we can make our ever-increasing reliance on technology be to our benefit.
Tickets include light food and beverage at the networking reception, access to the discussion, as well as a special gift from Shops at Chestnut Hill retailers. Below is a timeline of the event:
