About this event

About Women Talk Design Speaker Stories (Author Edition)

Women Talk Design community members aren't just speakers – many are also facilitators, event organizers, professors, and authors. Since several of our community members have recently published books, we're hosting an "Author Edition" of our ongoing Speaker Stories event series.

There isn’t one singular path to sharing your voice. Folks decide to speak or write for a variety of reasons, get started in different ways and have their own processes and techniques for getting their ideas out into the world.

For this special Speaker Stories event series, we're interviewing authors from our community to learn more about their journeys and experiences. Join us to hear how they started writing, why they chose their publishing path, and how speaking fits into their writing career. Hear their advice for those interested in writing a book and what they've learned along the way.

You’ll have the opportunity to ask your own questions and connect with folks from the Women Talk Design community. We hope you’ll leave inspired to share your own ideas and experiences, and get out there and share your ideas.

Stick around after the conversation for breakout discussions. During this time you can connect with other people in the Women Talk Design community and discuss what you learned.
