Description

Women Talk Design Lightning Talks: Special Edition (San Francisco)

Wednesday, October 23rd, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM

We're excited to host a special edition of our Women Talk Design Lightning Talks event! Our Lightning Talks event is designed to give new and experienced speakers an opportunity to practice a talk in front of a short, supportive audience.

This October, a small cohort of folks in San Francisco will be taking our "Present Yourself: Craft a Talk and Deliver with Confidence" workshop to become more confident public speakers. We are hosting a special Lightning Talks event the last week of their program. Participants from the workshop will present the 5-minute talks they've been working on throughout the program.

We invite you to attend and be a present and supportive audience member, learn something new, and engage with the community. The speakers will also be grateful for your feedback!

The evening will kickoff with an opportunity to meet others in attendance, before diving into the talks. We hope you'll join us for this special edition of Women Talk Design Lightning Talks.

  • 6:30 - 6:50: Check in // mingling
