Weight lifting can be a tremendous tool for your overall health -- and it’s not just for men. Lifting weights can help build a toned, sculpted, feminine body, and build stronger bones. Plus it can boost your metabolism, making you not only look great but feel great, too. Want to learn more about strength training? This 8-week course is for you! You will also have the opportunity to have a pre and post fitness assesment.
Course Dates, Times, and Location
This session will run once a week from September 13th to November 1st from 7:00-8:00AM on Thursday in the SMC Campus Center at 621 W. Lombard St at URecFit. The course entails eight 1-hour sessions.
$50 - For UM Students & URecFit Members,
$100 -Non-Members including UM Staff, UMMC Staff, & UM Affiliates. Non-Members have to be eligible for membership and affliated with the University. This fee includes use of URecFit's facilities AND you will have membership to the facility during this time (September 13th-November 1st), while the program is taking place!
A miniumum number of 5 people must sign up for the program to take place.
