Seattle Women’s Empowerment Story Slam: #TimesUp, Presented in partnership with the City of Seattle Women’s Commission

During this event, women from the Greater Seattle Community will share their stories, experiences and resources in regards to the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements in a "story slam" format. The format is free-flowing: speakers/presenters will share a literary narrative, spoken word, music or dance, or any format they are comfortable with, related to the topic. Examples include a personal story, a witnessed account - while maintain confidentiality, or information around the work/resources/services for survivors. There will be some confirmed speakers who will share first and if the time allows, the mic will be open for attendees who want to share. Dinner will be provided at this event.

The Women's Commission is offering a need-based scholarship to attend. Please register at: bit.ly/slamscholarship and you will be notified of your ticket before May 1.
