Description

On Saturday, June 2, 2018, the Dallas Chapter of the National Hook-Up of Black Women, Inc. will host its Annual Founders Day Celebration to honor the Founder of NHBW, Inc. Dr. Yvonne Boswell, SHERO Fannie Lou Hamer and the many accomplishments of the national organization and the local Dallas Chapter.

The celebratory event will also award the 2018 "Women of Excellence Awards" which honors local women leaders in the Dallas community who are proven leaders and striving to make a difference within their Dallas communities.

The 2018 award recipients are: Dallas Police Chief: U. Renee Hall; Dallas District Attorney: Faith Johnson; Pat Smith of Pat & Emmitt Smith Charities; Kyra Bradley: Parkland Hospital Systems (Domestic Violence Unit) and Kim Noye and Joyce Johnson of Dallas Housing Authority.

Would you like to showcase your business? We are seeking ten business vendors. The cost is $50.00 per vendor table; the price includes Brunch and one quarter page advertisement in the souvenir booklet.


We will host a Silent Auction and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to benefit Domestic Violence Awareness.


Partners for the event are the Dallas Housing Authority and KHVN-AM Heaven 97.0 radio station.
