About this Event

On October 24th, the Progressive Caucus Action Fund and She the People, a national network of women of color in politics, are hosting “Women of Color Lead the Way: Building Power on the Ground and in Congress,” a town hall focusing on the leadership of women of color in the progressive movement. This first-of-its-kind event will kick off the Progressive Caucus Action Fund’s annual Progressive Strategy Summit on October 24 & 25 in Washington, DC. Make sure to get your tickets today!

Aimee Allison – Founder and President of She the People – will moderate the town hall which will feature influential voices in Congress, including Rep. Pramila Jayapal (WA-7), Rep. Barbara Lee (CA-13), Rep. Ilhan Omar (MN-5), and Rep. Deb Haaland (NM-1), in conversation with women of color who are organizing for progressive change across the country.

Women of color are at the heart of the progressive movement. Forty-three now serve in the House and thousands in communities across the country provide the organizing power and leadership that drives progressive change at the local, state, and federal levels. Don’t miss this conversation!

NOTE: If you are already registered for the Progressive Strategy Summit on Oct. 24-25th you do NOT need to purchase a ticket - it's included in your summit ticket!
