Diane is a successful entrepreneur, marketer and author. She has spent her career as a business executive, and as co-author of the book Customer-Centered Growth: Five Strategies for Building Competitive Advantage. She is also Chairman of Communispace, where she was CEO for 13 years. Diane has received many honors, including the Pinnacle Award from the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, the Most Admired CEO award from the Boston Business Journal, Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year, and #3 on The Boston Globe's Top Women in Technology List.
Kelle Khalil, Founder and CEO of Lover.ly
Kellee, an Entrepreneurial Studies Graduate from USC, is Lover.ly’s fearless leader. Kellee started the company after realizing firsthand the inefficiencies of the wedding industry. She moved to NYC, invested her post-grad savings and launched Lover.ly in February of 2012. Prior to founding Lover.ly, Kellee ran Business Development at Be Inspired PR, the leading PR firm servicing the luxury wedding market. Kellee brings a high level of leadership, vision, and a strong understanding of the tech industry, while providing the team with instrumental enthusiasm and support.
Bea Arthur, Founder and CEO of In Your Corner
Called “innovative and inspiring” by the American Counseling Association, licensed therapist and entrepreneur Bea Arthur has become a leader in the field of mental health. The Columbia University alum is the founder and CEO of In Your Corner, an online platform that provides easy and affordable access to licensed therapists, certified coaches, and guided meditation teachers. She has been featured in MTV, Fast Company, Entrepreneur Magazine, Huffington Post, VentureBeat, NPR, and MSNBC; was also named part of the New Guard of women in tech by Marie Claire magazine as well as an “A Entrepreneur to Bet On” by Newsweek Magazine. Arthur is also the first black female CEO from the US to be accepted into the prestigious Y Combinator accelerator program.
Amelia Otte, Founder of TechFest Club + Sr Product Manager at Moda Operandi Inc
Amelia currently works as a Senior Product Manager for Moda Operandi, a startup which lets you preorder designer collections straight off the runway and shop at their expertly curated in-season boutique. Before Moda Operandi, she was working as a product manager for Ann Taylor and has also worked at Math4Science as a Director of Product. If we can call her anything that would be a product genius. She started her entrepreneurial journey attending General Assembly last year and started TechFestClub, an event series for women in tech. TechFestClub focuses on expert insights, practical advice and actionable takeaways. It brings quality content and networking opportunities to the tech community; it just so happens the room is full of women.
Jessica Hack, People Operations + Project Management at YPlan + Photographer at Airbnb
Jessica currently works for YPlan, a tonight’s going out app. Founded in London in February, 2012, YPlan is now in Edinburgh, San Francisco, New York and Las Vegas and continues to expand aggressively, bringing its curated event discovery experience to new cities. She has worked for YPlan for 3 years wearing many hats as a community manager, business operations manager, photo editor and now as People Operations. She has also been a photographer for Airbnb for the past 4 years. She has experienced it all.
Kanwal Jehan, Marketing Manager at Codify Academy
Kanwal recently graduated from StartUp Institute NYC, technical marketing track. She is a former legal professional transitioning into the startup scene. She is also a board member for SparkNYC, a young millenials non-profit organization that supports grassroots women organizations in NY, SF and around the world. She's going to take over the tech space one day.
