Women in Tech: A Fireside Chat with Freada Kapor Klein and Heather Hiles

Monday, January 27th from 7pm-9pm

Freada Kapor Klein, Partner Kapor Capital and Heather Hiles, Founder and CEO, Pathbrite

Moderated by Vivek Wadhwa, Vice President of Research and Innovation at Singularity University

ABOUT THIS EVENT

It's no secret that being a female founder comes with a unique set of challenges. While fundraising can be difficult for all founders, recent studies show an alarmingly higher rate or fundraising success for male founders. Why is that? Is it a confidence issue? Is it unconscious bias telling investors that women are less capable leaders? Are women less likely to sell the hyper-growth storyline that investors crave?

In this intimate fireside chat we will discuss these questions (and many more) through the perspective of an active angel investor and a successful entrepreneur, who both bring decades of experience to the conversation

Come for the talk, stay to connect with a community of passionate, forward-thinking bussinesswomen.

Wine, hot cocoa, and light snacks will be served.
