Women In Soccer
WOMEN IN SOCCER – Tuesday, January 10, 2107 — the day before NSCAA 2017 CONVENTION at the Convention Center and JW Marriott.
Women in Soccer is a celebration of what has been accomplished and a commitment to diversify the future. It is time to make change happen. Respect is more than 7 letters, it is a way of thinking — a way of playing.
Women in Soccer brings the leaders in soccer together to discuss the diversity of our game and how to help it grow.
Lynn Berling-Manuel, Louise Waxler, Janet Rayfield, Jeff Plush, Kevin Payne, Rachel Van Hollenbeke, Sam Snow, Christian Lavers, John Motta, Rosalie Kramm, Caitlin Carducci, Keith Tozer and Duncan Riddle among others come together to discuss today’s critical issues and help grow the beautiful game. The Women In Soccer Symposium is a series of Keynotes, Interactive Panels, One-on-One Q&As with a speaker led breakout session.
An intimate symposium the day before the NSCAA Convention kicks off — a unique chance to hear what the leaders in soccer believe and are willing to do — and to get your questions asked.
National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA), US Youth Soccer, Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL), United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA) all have their TOP people – CEOs, Commissioners, Directors of Coaching speaking at this amazing event.
We hope you join us for the second annual Women In Soccer Symposium — an important event as we gather to explore the irony that our women are the best in world, but still fewer than 10% of women hold leadership roles in soccer in America.
It is time to work together to make a difference. It is time to respect diversity. It is time to be inclusive.
What are the challenges and how can we plan for success? What can we do individually and collectively? NOW is time for each of us to commit to doing more to help women in soccer.
