Women in Science Network (WiSN) Launch

We would like to invite ALL Faculty of Science (FoS) staff to the official launch of the Women in Science Network (WiSN).

Date: Wednesday, 9th May 2018

Venue: Room G26/G27, BioSciences 1 (Adjacent to Systems Gardens)

The event will include a brief presentation from the Dean of Science, Professor Karen Day, on the STEMM gender data as part of the University of Melbourne’s Athena SWAN application. Dr Andrew Siebel (Assistant Dean, Diversity and Inclusion) and inaugural chair of the FoS WiSN, Dr Georgina Such will then discuss the FoS D&I committee priorities and some of the planned WiSN initiatives. The presentation will conclude with a brief Q&A panel session followed by a light lunch.
