Event description
WHELS provides higher education leaders with the tools to lead effectively at their colleges and universities.

About this event

Educators face an array of challenges that have only intensified this past year. The pandemic put stress and pressure on faculty, administrators, and students like never before. Education leaders are faced with maintaining high-level programs in the wake of continued budget cuts, motivating and connecting with today's generation of students, fostering emotional wellness, balancing the demands of work life and home life, and finding time for continued personal and professional development.

Address these issues and raise your leadership capacity in this four-day, intensive leadership summit.

Participants will learn about innovative and effective leadership approaches, including Adaptive leadership, Dare to Lead™, and leadership mindfulness. We will work to develop our ability to be conscious leaders. Join a community of women for four days of deep engagement.

WELS welcomes all leaders. We hope to use the lens of women's experience and gender and leadership to create more equitable and effective environments with higher education.

This event will be a virtual event using Zoom and other online platforms and formats.
