About WiDS Abu Dhabi and Dubai 2020

WiDS Abu Dhabi and Dubai is an independent event organized by Arab Women in Computing (ArabWIC), IBM and Heriot-Watt University Dubai to coincide with the annual Global Women in Data Science (WiDS) Conference held at Stanford University and an estimated 150+ locations worldwide. All genders are invited to attend WiDS regional events, which feature outstanding women doing outstanding work.

WiDS Abu Dhabi and Dubai conference aims to inspire and educate data scientists and to support women in the field. It will feature outstanding women in the UAE undertaking cutting-edge work in this field, provide an opportunity to hear about the latest data science-related research and applications in several domains, and provide a forum for networking.
