Join us for our monthly luncheon this December. We'll enjoy great networking, an engaging environment, and a presentation from our guest speaker, Dr. Courtney Jarrett.
Dr. Courtney Jarrett is the Associate Director of Disability Services at Ball State University where she serves over 800 students with disabilities annually. While her Associate Director role encompasses most of her day at Ball Sate, Dr. Jarrett carves out time to teach Women and Gender Studies to undergraduate students. Her work has ensured that feminism is prominent on Ball State's campus and that students are more aware than ever of issues pertaining to women. Recently, Dr. Jarrett finished her book, Not Your Momma's Feminism, for beginning students in Women's and Gender Studies. Because of her work in the Women and Gender Studies department at Ball State, Dr. Jarrett has won the Women and Gender Studies Faculty Award and the Multi-Cultural Center's Inspiring Figure for Women Award. WIBU was also pleased to name Dr. Jarrett as the 2016 ATHENA Young Professional Award Recipient.
All WIBU luncheons are open to the public. Regardless of whether or not you've attended a WIBU event in the past we would love to have you join us this month. Come enjoy being in a room full of empowering women supporting one another and listening to a great presenter.
