The Rhythm of the Wings Chapter of Women in Aviation International (WAI) will host its 2nd Annual Girls in Aviaiton day offered to local girls ages 8 to 18 years (boys are welcome to attend) to introduce them to the possibilities available in a career in aviation. The day’s activities will take place at The Fulton County Aviation Community Cultural Center, located at Charlie Brown Airport, 3900 Aviation Cir NW, Atlanta Georgia 30336 from 9:30am-2pm on Saturday, September 24, 2016. More than 300 girls along with their chaperones are invited to attend.
Activity workstations will include an airport tour, static display, learn how to fly a drone, flight planning, practice on a flight simulator, create aviation jewelry, storytelling, games and much more. Speakers include airline pilots, mechanic, air traffic controllers, engineers, program managers, aerospace personnel, STEM Scientists, etc.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
ID's ae not required. Ages 8-18 years
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Transportation is the responsibility of the parent. Parking is located on the lower deck of the facility. No parking is allowed next to the building. The Center is located on the bus route. Bus stop is located at Brown Field Airport stop on Fulton Industrial Blvd.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Your boarding pass is transferable. However, the new person must call to have a name change.

This is a free event. Donations are accepted and are non refundable.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
