Women in Agile 2023

You’re invited to join the 8th annual Women in Agile event as part of the Agile Alliance conference!

WiA 2023: Reveal will be held in conjunction with Agile2023 in Orlando, FL. This year’s theme was specifically chosen to give voice and recognition to the increasing importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the WiA community and beyond.

We want to kick off a courageous conversation in which we all consider the role we play in each others’ lives to reveal new and better ways of cultivating the connections we need to co-exist as citizens and teammates in our various workplaces.

Featured Partnership: Agile in Color

This year’s event features a special partnership with the Agile in Color initiative from Agile Alliance. The Agile in Color team will provide two proteges for Launching New Voices as well as provide other great content and opportunities for participants to engage with each other.

Featured Keynote: Seena Hodges

This year’s event features Seena Hodges, CEO of Minneapolis, MN based The Woke Coach. Seena is a connector who loves people and is passionate about equity, intersectional feminism, and access to brave spaces for all. The Woke Coach engages with clients to facilitate conversations and complete projects that live at the intersection of equity, diversity, inclusion, antiracism, and empowerment. The company’s mission is to help individuals deepen their analysis and move to action around issues of bias and injustice, in turn, helping them become the best, most understanding, empathetic version of themselves.

Launching New Voices

This year’s event will once again feature four new voices as part of the Women in Agile Launching New Voices program. The Call for Papers to be a new voice this year will be open through April 23, 2023. Visit www.womeninagile.org/lnv for more details.
