WOMEN我們 Closing Reception
Saturday, December 8, 2012 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM (PST)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
Join the Chinese Culture Center as we close the year off with a bang with the WOMEN我們 closing reception! We will be hosting the closing reception of our trailblazing show on December 8 with a mixer to celebrate the year and thank all supporters for their love of our exhibition, the artists, and the communities that are in the midst of a burgeoning feminist and LGBTQ revolution.
If you haven't seen the show, this will be the last opportunity!
WOMEN, titled with the Mandarin-English homophone 我們, meaning both “women” and “we,” is a groundbreaking exhibition featuring 13 international and local artists, coupled with NGOs exploring the themes of sexuality, gender, and LGBTQ through artwork and social justice. Through VISIBILITY, POSSIBILITY, and AUTHORITY, the exhibition seek to create a dialogue and platform for these marginalized communities.
Show your support and rainbow colors, and mingle with the artists and curator, Abby Chen.
