About Women Between Arts:
Women Between Arts (WBA) is New York’s leading interdisciplinary womxn and non-binary artists series, created and curated by multi- and interdisciplinary artist Luisa Muhr. Women Between Arts is a financially-independent/not supported partner of the The New School, College of Performing Arts, its physical home.
Revolving around the question: "How do we make new art?", the series first started as a one-woman-run project when it was founded in October 2017 and has been gradually growing since. Women Between Arts features some of today's most exciting experimental artists who identify as womxn or non-binary people and their groups/ensembles/collaborators (including people of all genders and non-binary people), who work with any combination of music/sound, theater, dance/movement, poetry, performance art, installation, film and/or visual arts in an unconventional way.
