Women AND Tech - West Midlands round table

Women and Technology - West Midlands Round Table
In the UK, the average number of Women in Technology teams is just 14%. In Birmingham, that drops to just 8%. Pauline and I have been fortunate enough to meet and work with some truly inspiring and unsung heroines working in the world of technology, who are continuing to inspire and mentor others, push boundaries, all whilst also facing their own personal and work challenges.
We are passionate about shaking up traditional gender hierarchies in the technology sector. Therefore, we will be hosting a number of small, intimate round table sessions, open to women of all ages at all stages in their career in technology, who would like a safe, open and progressive space to discuss the highs and challenges of their careers, so we can continue to drive the engagement and support of future women and girls in tech, whilst assisting women in maximising their own careers.
It will be an intimate evening for 14 guests and the agenda is simple:
- What are your goals?
- What have been your successes?
- What are your challenges?
- How can we help you overcome these to help have you have an even more succesfull and happy career in the Technology Industry?
This is for Women only (sorry guys!) and will be on a first-come-first-served basis. There will also be yummy food and a range of drinks provided.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
