OUR SHARED VISION at the BIG BEND MINORITY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE:

We envision a community where any individual desiring to grow an idea, start a business, scale a business, sell a business, or relocate a business to north Florida’s Big Bend region will find barrier-free access to fully-accessible economic, political and entrepreneurial ecosystems that are robust, vibrant and diverse, and can consistently support the successful pursuit and achievement of the goals of the individual and their enterprise at every stage of the process.

The Big Bend Minority Chamber of Commerce (BBMC) was created out of a need to bring visibility and support to women-owned and minority-owned businesses and youth entrepreneurs in a five-county region of central north Florida recognized as the Big Bend.  The organization has a mission to stimulate and strengthen the Big Bend region’s economic and entrepreneurial ecosystems by bridging opportunity gaps and providing the support needed to inspire, empower, energize, grow and sustain business enterprises owned and operated by women and minorities.
